PA GOP Straw Poll (March 23-24, 2012)

 

The PA GOP Straw Poll is simply a presidential poll taken by attendees at the annual Pennsylvania Leadership Conference.  In only its second year the PA GOP Straw Poll is positioned to be an important poll of strength for candidates in 2012 while finishing out the last 23 primaries.  Although leading into the PA GOP Straw Poll 1,141 delegates will have been elected already, after the PA GOP Straw Poll the rest of the 2,286 delegates will be selected, leaving 1,145 or just more than half of the total available delegates for the election up for grabs.


Anuually the PA GOP Straw Poll is held at the Pennsylvania Leadership Conference which is the premeir gathering of Conservative Republicans from Pennsylvania year after year.  With attendence of more than 700 registered Republicans each year we are able to get an accurate reading from the state's conservative movement.


New for 2012, we are going to show a new and innovative way to vote at the Straw Poll with a custom designed iPad App.  The application will not only prove green as eliminating paper ballots, but also be a innovative way on voting and a basis for election reform in Pennsylvania.
